Laser shot peening reinforcement of complex components: manufacturing of fatigue-resistant structural parts for military aircraft
Laser shot peening reinforcement of military aircraft components such as frames, beams, etc., requires precise and efficient impact on local stress concentration areas to improve fatigue resistance. Laser shot peening reinforcement is a key process technology to enhance the fatigue life of complex components of military aircraft. Centering on the reinforcement needs of typical components with round corners, and relying on the self-developed complex component laser shot peening reinforcement process design method of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the problems of insufficient fatigue performance caused by structural holes and stress concentration in the R area of the fuselage frame and beam structure have been solved.
