Laser shot peening forming of overall panel: verification of 4-meter central wing panel application for C919 large passenger aircraft

Shot peening forming is the core process technology for the manufacturing of large civil aircraft wing panels. Around the precise forming requirements of civil aircraft panels, Shao Ke has independently developed large-scale integral panel laser shot peening forming intelligent equipment and process planning methods, which can solve the forming problems of large civil aircraft integral panels.

In 2022, based on the independently developed equipment and process technology, the domestic project 4-meter-level C919 central wing rib plate technology verification was completed first, achieving the laser shot peening forming verification of the typical piece of the 4-meter-level C919 aircraft central wing lower rear rib plate with a span of 3688.76 mm and a chord length of 998.71 mm, with a thickness range of 6.5 mm ~ 11.0 mm.

Based on the CKF inspection specification, the surface gap of more than 90% of the positions meets the standard load with the inspection of the surface accuracy, which meets the technical requirements. Compared with the mechanical shot blasting forming, the forming accuracy and surface quality of the wall plate are significantly improved, which provides an important technical guarantee for the research and development of the C919 aircraft.

In addition, Shao Ke also provides typical material forming process demonstration for商飞, and provides basic data support for the preparation of civil aircraft process specifications.
